Wanyana's Story
Milly is a bright young girl from a poor family. Life has not been easy for her her parents struggle to meet daily needs, and sometimes she goes to school without proper meals or materials. Yet, despite these challenges, Milly carries a strong and unique dream in her heart she wants to become a traffic officer.
From a young age, Milly admired the men and women in uniform who stand on the roads, guiding vehicles and keeping people safe. Each time she sees a traffic officer at work, her eyes light up with admiration. She dreams of one day wearing that uniform, standing proudly in the middle of the road, ensuring order and safety for all road users.
Milly believes that being a traffic officer is not just a job it’s a way to serve her country and protect lives. She wants to help reduce accidents and teach her community about road safety.
At school, Milly is hardworking and disciplined. Her teachers describe her as a responsible and courageous girl who always strives to do her best. Even though her family’s financial situation makes her dream seem far away, she keeps believing that with God’s help and the support of kind people, her dream will come true.
She hopes that one day, she will be the one standing confidently on the road, not as a dreamer anymore but as Officer Milly, serving with pride and protecting her community.
