Dear Friend,
I am writing to share the story of Nakanjako Allen, a bright young girl whose life has been marked by loss but whose dreams remain alive. Allen lost her mother at birth, and her father later died in prison after being sentenced on charges the community believes were politically motivated. He had chosen to run for a parliamentary seat, and many still say the accusations were not true.
Since then, Allen has been raised by her grandmother, who is now 83 years old and struggling with the strength and means to care for her. The grandmother worries deeply, knowing she may not have the time or resources to see Allen through her education. Despite these challenges, Allen has shown herself to be exceptionally smart in class. Her teachers praise her abilities and her determination, but sadly, she has no school fees to continue her studies.
Allen is not only seeking support to stay in school but also the comfort of having someone she can call family. Your generosity can give her the chance to pursue her dreams, receive an education, and grow into the hopeful, capable person she is meant to become.
With gratitude,
