My name is Niwagaba, and I own the only pharmacy in my community. Every day, I care for children, mothers, the elderly, and vulnerable families who depend on my pharmacy for medicine and basic healthcare. Although I do everything I can to help, many patients need medical services that I cannot provide because my pharmacy is too small and lacks the necessary facilities. Too many people are forced to travel long distances to receive proper treatment, putting lives at risk.
My dream is to build a community hospital where families can access quality, affordable healthcare close to home. The hospital will provide outpatient care, maternity services, emergency treatment, laboratory services, and essential medicines, giving hope to thousands of people who currently have limited access to healthcare.
To make this vision a reality, I am seeking USD 35,000. The funds will be used to purchase land (USD 8,000), construct the hospital building (USD 15,000), purchase essential medical equipment (USD 6,000), stock medicines and medical supplies (USD 3,000), provide hospital furniture (USD 2,000), and cover water, electricity, sanitation, licensing, and other startup costs (USD 1,000).
