Help to Empower 200 Single Mothers to a Journey of Transformation
In Nakadingidi zone
Wobulenzi town council community, there are 200 single mothers who
struggle daily to provide for their children. They lack stable income and
capital to start meaningful businesses. This project is designed to change that
reality by empowering them to become self-reliant and financially independent.
The program will
support mothers to start small businesses such as retail kiosks, vegetable
vending, tailoring, poultry keeping, soap making, and salon services. With this
support, they will move from survival to stability and begin building better
futures for their families.
We
are seeking a total of USD 30,000 to implement this project. The funds
will be carefully managed to ensure transparency and impact. USD 20,000 will
be given directly as startup capital to the 200 mothers, giving each of them an
equal opportunity to begin a small business. USD 4,000 will be used for
business training and mentorship to equip them with skills in saving,
budgeting, and managing enterprises. USD 3,000 will go into a group
savings and revolving fund to strengthen sustainability. USD 2,000 will
provide essential startup tools and materials, while USD 1,000 will
support coordination, monitoring, and regular reporting to donors through
updates, photos, and progress stories
