Thousands of refugee families living in Rungo Refugee Settlement continue to face daily challenges caused by inadequate housing. Many parents and children sleep in overcrowded, temporary shelters that offer little protection from heavy rains, strong winds, extreme heat, and other harsh weather conditions.
At Fands Foundation, we believe that every family deserves a safe, secure, and dignified home.
Through this project, we are working to construct 210 permanent family houses, giving vulnerable refugee families a chance to rebuild their lives in safety and hope.
To provide safe, durable, and affordable homes that restore dignity, improve living conditions, and create stronger communities for refugee families living in Rungo Refugee Settlement.
We are currently raising funds to construct the first 52 homes.
Each completed house will provide:
🏠 Two bedrooms
🍳 Family kitchen
🛋 Living space
🪟 Proper ventilation
🧱 Durable construction
🌧 Protection from rain and harsh weather
Total Houses Planned: 210
Current Phase: Phase One
Homes in Phase One: 52
Cost Per House: USD 3,500
Phase One Goal: USD 182,000
A safe home means:
Children sleep safely every night.
Families are protected from dangerous weather.
Better health and sanitation.
Greater privacy and dignity.
Stronger, healthier communities.
Hope for a better future.
Every house we build transforms the life of an entire family.
Whether you sponsor one house, contribute building materials, or make a donation of any amount, your generosity will help refugee families move from temporary shelters into permanent homes.
Every contribution brings us one step closer to completing the first 52 houses.
Together, we can build homes, restore dignity, and create hope.
