My name is Twagelayesu Siplian. I am 33 years old, a refugee, a husband, and the father of five children. I fled from Rwanda after violence forced my family to run for our lives. Our home was burned, our animals were taken, and everything we had worked for was destroyed. We arrived at the refugee camp with nothing but the clothes we were wearing.
Today, I have no job, no proper shelter, and no way to provide for my wife and children. We often go to bed hungry, and my children have little hope of a better future. We are isolated, forgotten, and struggling to survive each day.
I have not given up hope, but I cannot overcome these hardships alone. I humbly ask for your support to help us access food, safe shelter, clothing, healthcare, and a chance to rebuild our lives. Your kindness can give my family hope, restore our dignity, and help us begin again after losing everything

Now jobless and homeless, survive by doing small, exhausting jobs—digging in other people’s gardens just to earn a little money or sometimes just a meal. Even with this effort, it is not enough. Some nights, the family goes to sleep on empty stomachs, his children are not in school, he struggles to care for his wife who breast feeds. They face hunger, poor living conditions, and isolation every day. I am speaking on behalf of him and his family as FANDS foundation Uganda.
