Namubiru's Story
Namaganda Esther is a bright and compassionate young girl with a powerful dream — to become a doctor. Her passion for medicine was born from witnessing her beloved grandmother suffer for many years with chronic illness. Watching her in pain without access to proper medical care deeply touched Esther's heart. She vowed to one day become a doctor, not just to treat her grandmother, but to bring healing and hope to others in her community.
Esther’s journey, however, has been anything but easy. She is a total orphan. Her father passed away when she was just 3 years old, and she has no history or knowledge of her mother. Raised by her aging grandmother in difficult conditions, Esther has learned to survive with little, but she dreams big.
Despite the hardships, Esther is focused and determined. She works hard in school and is always among the best in her class. All she needs now is a helping hand — someone to believe in her dream and support her education.
