Mukisa's Story
Tony is a bright and determined young boy who comes from a poor family. Life has not been easy for him sometimes, his parents struggle even to afford school fees or a proper meal. But despite these challenges, Tony’s heart is full of hope.
Ever since he was a little boy, Tony has dreamed of becoming a doctor. He wants to help sick people in his community and save lives. Whenever someone falls ill in his village, Tony wishes he already had the knowledge and skills to treat them.
At school, he works very hard and always performs well in science and health subjects. His teachers believe in him, and they know he has the potential to achieve great things. But Tony’s biggest challenge is lack of support without help, he may not be able to continue with his education.
Still, Tony refuses to give up. He prays every day that one day, someone will support his dream so that he can wear a white coat, hold a stethoscope, and bring hope to those who suffer.
