Usufu is a young boy from a small Ugandan village. His childhood has been filled with hardship—poverty at home, days without food, and long walks to school without shoes. Many times, Usufu has felt like giving up. But one thing keeps him strong: his dream to change his life and the lives of others.
Usufu believes that education is the key to his future. He often says, “If I can learn, I can change my life, and I can help others like me.” At school, he listens carefully, always eager to understand more. His teachers admire his determination, even though he sometimes comes to class without books or pens.
There are days when Usufu is sent home because his family cannot afford school fees. On those days, he sits under a tree with borrowed notes, whispering to himself that he will not give up. He dreams of becoming someone who can stand tall, support his family, and lift others out of poverty.
But Usufu also knows that his dream cannot be achieved alone. He needs a helping hand. He believes that with support, he can stay in school, finish his education, and become a man who gives back to his community.
He says, “One hand can change a life. If someone helps me today, I will help many tomorrow.”
Brian’s story is not just about his struggles—it is about hope. A young boy with big dreams, ready to change his living, waiting for a helping hand to turn his dream into reality.
