Ayebale Isaac is a five year-old boy with a bright smile and curious eyes, living in a small village with his parents and two young siblings. His parents wake up every morning before sunrise to work on other people’s farms, digging, planting, and harvesting crops that are not their own. For long hours of hard labor, they receive only a small payment in return often just enough to buy a little food for the day. They have no permanent source of income, no savings, and no land of their own.
Isaac dreams of going to school like other children he sees walking with books on their backs and uniforms neatly pressed. He often asks his mother when he will also join school, but she gently changes the subject because she knows they cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or even basic scholastic materials. At home, the family struggles to meet simple needs such as food, clothing, and medical care. Their shelter is not truly theirs; they stay in a small house offered by a kind well-wisher who may ask them to leave at any time.
If Isaac and his siblings are not helped, their future becomes uncertain and painful. Without education, they risk growing up trapped in the same cycle of poverty as their parents, forced into child labor at an early age just to survive. The possibility of being displaced from their current shelter means they could become homeless, exposed to hunger, sickness, and unsafe living conditions. The children may lose hope, confidence, and the chance to dream beyond their present struggles.to grow into a confident, educated young boy who one day contributes positively to his community.
However, with support, Isaac’s life could change completely. Access to education, stable housing, and basic needs would give him and his siblings a safe childhood and the opportunity to build a brighter future. A small act of help today could protect them from homelessness, restore dignity to their family, and allow Isaac
