Kayobyo Paul, a bright young boy in Primary Two, lives in Gulama with a heart full of hope. His dream is simple, yet powerful — he wants to become a mechanic, to fix engines and give life to machines that help his community move forward.
But today, Paul stands at a painful crossroads. Little is known about his father, a nomadic man who once came from South Sudan and disappeared from Paul’s life, leaving behind only questions. With no father to support him, and no stable family income, Paul now faces a cruel reality — he cannot afford to go to school.
His education has come to a halt, and with each passing day, his dream fades further from reach. Paul is trapped in a dilemma no child should face: the desire to learn, but the absence of opportunity.
