Nalutaya's Story
Marion is an 8-year-old girl with bright eyes and a gentle smile, living with her parents and siblings in a small, fragile home at the edge of the village. Her parents love their children deeply, but they have no stable source of income. Each day is a struggle to find food, pay rent, and provide basic necessities. Some days they survive on one simple meal, and school fees are far beyond their reach. Marion often wears worn-out clothes and shares books with friends because her family cannot afford her own supplies.
Despite these hardships, Marion carries a beautiful dream in her heart — she wants to become a doctor. She is fascinated by science and says she hopes to treat sick children and help families like hers one day. However, her parents cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or learning materials, and many times she stays home while other children attend class.
If Marion does not receive help, she risks dropping out of school completely. Without education, her dream of becoming a doctor may fade away, replaced by early child labor and continued poverty. Hunger and lack of opportunity could limit her future. With support, Marion could remain in school, grow her knowledge, and one day transform not only her own life but also the lives of many others.
