Shaluwa grows up in a poor family where meeting daily needs is difficult. She studies with determination and dreams of becoming a lawyer to defend the vulnerable, fight injustice, and uplift her family and community from poverty.
Her mother is a single of 3 children and her source of income can not afford to educate them and feed them. some time she goes in peoples gardens and dig for them though most times they do not pay her.
If Shaluwa does not get the support she needs, she may fail to complete Senior Six or join university. Her dream of studying law could end, leading to limited career options, financial struggle, and reduced ability to help her family and community.
